Hello everyone -

So I know we're pretty shameful about keeping the blog entries up-to-date. Basically I just wrapped up a production of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and now we're gearing up to go on our 'Babymoon' - a cruise from Southern Cali down to Mexico. I'm personally looking forward to the 24 hr frozen yogurt bar and to eating my weight in goodies while laying around all day. Clayton says that given present circumstances, I'm allowed. :)

I did finally scan and post all of the ultra sound pics of Baby Carter to date, much to my sister's delight. Check out the ultra sound baby video if you haven't already. Comments (only nice ones) are welcome!

Clayton and I have been pretty busy the last couple of months working, doing side projects, and performing together in a darling show called, “Wonderful Town.” In the show I play one of the sisters, Eileen, and Clayton plays the bass guitar in the orchestra – his new bass guitar I should add!

My mom got a chance to visit recently and we took Spartacus to the vet together for his annual check up. We decided hell froze over because despite the fact that the cat seems to not like my mom very much (marked by the hissing and growling whenever she is nearby), he nuzzled up to her during his exam. We’ve decided to take him to the vet whenever she’s in town from now on. 

Alright everyone, last Christmas I got a video camera (Thanks Mike and Karen) and we put it to some good use during our trip. I'm in no way a "professional" yet, but I'm working at it. We wanted to share some of our video so I decided to do a little editing and throw it out on the site. Check it out in the Media section or just click on the link! 1) "We feed the King Cobra.. Pork Sausage!!",
"A bite to the leg from the King Cobra leads to amp-U-tation!!"
- Quotes from the presentor at the Snake Farm in Bangkok in his deep, dramatic English voice.

2) "I can't find Afton and I'm starting to get freaked out"
- By Clayton while he and the tour group were desperately looking for Afton in Old City, Bangkok when she separated from the group. (She was later found at the Hotel in the Silom District)

3) "Clayton! Don't touch the monkey" - Said by Afton frantically and consistently at the monkey temple.

4) "You've gotto be kiddin' me??" - Said by Clayton after our cheap duffel bag that we bought at a Chiang Mai night market broke a 2nd time.

5) "It's Play Money" - Afton's mentality of Thailand's currency (the boht) while at the many night markets in Chiang Rai, Bangkok, and Chiang Mai.

6) Question: "What do you want to eat for dinner?"
Response: "Anything by Thai."
- A frequent conversation during the second week of the trip.
